reversible-pu-leather-placemats-pebble-shape-waterproof-set-of-4-or-8
Reversible PU Leather Placemats, Pebble Shape, Waterproof, Set of 4 or 8

Placemats in a soft pebble-grain PU leather, cut in a rounded pebble shape and made in two colors: one on the top, a different one underneath. Flip a mat over and the table changes color, so one set gives you two looks, or both at once if you alternate the places.

They are waterproof and oil-proof, so a spill of gravy or red wine wipes off with a damp cloth instead of soaking in, and they take heat up to 176 to 212°F (80 to 100°C). Choose from four color pairs, in a set of 4 or a set of 8.

Two colors in every mat

Most placemats commit you to one look, and after a few months the table looks exactly the way it did the week you bought them. These have a second face. Blue and Yellow, for example, is a deep navy on one side and a warm mustard on the other. Lay the whole table in navy for a quiet weekday dinner. Turn every mat to mustard when you want the room to feel brighter.

Or mix them. Set alternate places on alternate sides and the table reads as a deliberate two-tone setting. Nothing extra to buy, nothing to store. The rounded pebble outline helps here too. With no corners to line up, four or eight mats look relaxed around a round table and still sit neatly along a long one.

Built for the meals that make a mess

Fabric placemats are lovely until the first drop of curry lands on one, and then they spend more time in the laundry than on the table. The faux leather surface here does not absorb liquid or grease. Wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it under the tap, and it is ready for the next meal.

The fine pebble grain gives the surface a little texture, which helps keep plates and bowls from skating about when someone leans on the table. The heat rating covers a hot dinner plate or a fresh mug of tea, although a pan or a dish straight from the oven still wants a trivet. The mats are thin and flexible, so a stack of them slips into a drawer or rolls up for the cupboard without taking up a shelf.

Four color pairs, two set sizes

Each pair is a darker side and a lighter side. Blue and Yellow is the boldest, navy against mustard, for a plain wood or white table that could use some color. Gray and Taupe is the quietest, a cool gray with a warm gray-brown reverse that sits easily with stone, oak and white china.

Gray and Green pairs a mid gray with a deep olive green, which works nicely with natural wood and plants on the table. Burgundy and Black is the most formal of the four, deep wine on one side and black on the other, and looks good under candlelight as well as at breakfast. The Set of 4 covers a small table, and the Set of 8 lets you seat a full table for guests or keep a spare set ready while the first is being wiped down.

Specifications

Type: Reversible placemat, two colors per mat

Material: PU leather

Surface: Fine pebble grain with a soft satin sheen

Shape: Rounded pebble

Dimensions: 17.7 x 14.4 in (45 x 36.5 cm) per mat

Colors: Blue and Yellow, Gray and Taupe, Gray and Green, Burgundy and Black

Blue and Yellow: Navy on one side, mustard yellow on the other

Gray and Taupe: Gray on one side, taupe on the other

Gray and Green: Gray on one side, olive green on the other

Burgundy and Black: Burgundy on one side, black on the other

Sets: Set of 4 or Set of 8

Waterproof: Yes

Oil-proof: Yes

Heat resistance: Up to 176 to 212°F (80 to 100°C)

Surface grip: Non-slip texture that helps keep tableware in place

Storage: Flexible, folds or rolls to store

Use: Dining tables, everyday meals and special occasions

Not included: Plates, cutlery and glasses shown in photos

Care

Wipe off spills and stains with a damp cloth, or rinse the mat under running water.

It dries quickly, so it can go straight back on the table.

Package Includes

4x Reversible PU Leather Placemat (Set of 4), or 8x Reversible PU Leather Placemat (Set of 8)

https://ridgewellliving.com/en-au/products/reversible-pu-leather-placemats-pebble-shape-waterproof-set-of-4-or-8
