velvet-christmas-baubles-set-of-9-large-shatterproof-tree-ornaments
Velvet Christmas Baubles, Set of 9 Large Shatterproof Tree Ornaments

Nine large Christmas baubles, each 3.9 inches across and covered all over in a short velvet flocking, so they look soft and deep on the tree instead of glassy. They come in burgundy or navy, nine of one color in a divided box, and they are shatterproof, so a knock from a passing elbow does not end in swept-up glass.

No glare from the tree lights. No sharp shards on the floor. Hang them, and the tree looks fuller straight away.

Velvet reads richer than a shiny bauble

A glossy bauble mostly shows you a reflection of the room, a white spot from the nearest lamp and a bent copy of the window, which is why a tree full of them can look busy rather than rich. The flocked surface on these takes the light differently, with a soft glow along the lit edge and a deep, even color everywhere else, so each ball reads as one solid shape of color.

Up close the pile is short and dense, close to a velvet cushion. A small crown cap in a pale silver-gold sits on top with a wire loop, ready for a hook or a ribbon.

Big enough to fill the gaps

At 3.9 inches, each one is about the size of a softball, big enough to hold its own on a full-size tree. Nine of them spread through the middle of a tree fill the spaces between branches that small baubles leave empty, and they still read clearly from across the room.

They also work away from the tree. Pile them in a wide bowl on the dining table, tuck a few along a garland on the mantel, or hang three on a wreath for the front hall.

Burgundy or navy

Burgundy is a deep wine red, the warmer and more traditional of the two. It sits naturally against green fir, gold ribbon and white lights, and it gives a classic tree a single strong color without turning it into a bright red.

Navy is a very dark blue that looks almost black in low light and turns a clear blue where the lights catch it. It pairs well with silver, white and pale wood, and it suits a quieter, more modern tree. Each box holds nine of one color, so two boxes, one of each, make a mixed tree of eighteen.

Specifications

Type: Christmas tree baubles

Colors: Burgundy, Navy

Finish: Velvet flocking all over, matte

Construction: Shatterproof

Diameter: 3.9 in (10 cm) each

Quantity: 9 baubles per set, all one color

Hanging: Metal crown cap with a wire loop

Box: 11.8 x 11.8 x 3.9 in (30 x 30 x 10 cm), with dividers

Use: Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands and bowl displays

Package Includes

9x Velvet Christmas Baubles in the color you choose

1x Divided box

https://ridgewellliving.com/en-au/products/velvet-christmas-baubles-set-of-9-large-shatterproof-tree-ornaments
