walnut-toilet-paper-holder-with-phone-shelf-and-matte-black-steel-arm
Walnut Toilet Paper Holder with Phone Shelf and Matte Black Steel Arm

A toilet paper holder with a walnut shelf built over the roll, so the one spot you reach for anyway finally has somewhere to set things down. Your phone, your glasses or a small candle sit on the wood, and the paper hangs from a matte black steel arm just below it.

No phone balanced on the edge of the tank. No glasses left on the windowsill. One neat fitting on the wall where there would have been two.

The shelf is the part you will use every day

You already know what a toilet paper holder does, and most of them do nothing else. The trouble starts the moment you sit down with a phone in your hand and nowhere to put it, so it ends up on the floor, on the edge of the tank or balanced on your knee. This one puts a flat walnut shelf, 6.3 by 4.7 inches, directly over the roll, right where your hand already goes.

That is room for a phone lying flat, with space beside it for a pair of glasses, a small diffuser or a folded hand towel. Because the shelf and the holder are one fitting, the wall gets a single tidy piece of hardware instead of a holder and a separate ledge competing for the same spot.

Walnut on top, black steel underneath

The shelf is walnut, a warm mid-brown with long straight grain running from end to end. Its front corners are softly rounded, so nothing catches on a sleeve as you reach past. Beneath it, a slim matte black plate sits flat against the wall along the back edge, and the roll hangs from a single flat stainless steel arm in the same black finish.

Walnut and black are an easy pair. They look as much at home on gray tile and pale plaster as they do beside a black faucet, a dark vanity or brass fittings, and the whole thing stands only 4.7 inches out from the wall.

A new roll goes on in one move

The arm drops from under the shelf at one end and runs sideways beneath it, open at the other. There is no spring-loaded rod to squeeze and no end cap to unscrew, so changing the roll is a matter of sliding the empty tube off and pushing a full one on. A small upturned tip finishes the open end of the bar.

The paper stays within easy reach, and whatever you carried in with you has a proper place to wait.

Specifications

Type: Wall-mounted toilet paper holder with shelf

Material: Walnut wood and stainless steel

Shelf: Walnut, flat top, softly rounded front corners

Roll holder: Stainless steel arm in a matte black finish, open at one end

Wall plate: Matte black, along the back edge of the shelf

Dimensions: 6.3 x 4.7 x 3.9 in (16 x 12 x 10 cm)

Measured: Width x depth x height, from the top of the shelf to the bottom of the arm

Shelf thickness: 0.7 in (1.9 cm)

Holds: One roll

Mounting: Wall mounted

Use: Bathrooms, toilets and powder rooms

Package Includes

1x Walnut Toilet Paper Holder with Phone Shelf

https://ridgewellliving.com/en-au/products/walnut-toilet-paper-holder-with-phone-shelf-and-matte-black-steel-arm
