night-garden-floral-blanket-reversible-green-and-rust-cotton-throw
Night Garden Floral Blanket, Reversible Green and Rust Cotton Throw

Big flowers in burgundy, rust and cream open across a dark teal-green ground on this cotton throw, tied together by pale curling vines and a scatter of tiny gold dots. Turn it over and the same garden comes back on a warm rust-orange ground, so one throw gives the bed two quite different moods.

Spread it over the duvet with the rust side folded back at the pillows, or pull it across the end of the sofa for the evening. A loose fringe runs around every edge and softens the line wherever it falls.

A dark garden that still reads from the doorway

Most floral bedding sits on a white or cream ground, and next to plain sheets it can look washed out. This one does the opposite. The deep green pushes the flowers forward, so the round blooms, the pointed leaves and the long feathered petals stay clear even from across the room.

Look closer and every gap is filled. Small seed pods, curling tendrils and gold dots sit between the flowers, so the ground never looks empty. The pattern is woven into the cloth from dyed yarns rather than printed on top, which is why you can see the weave in every petal and why the design shows on both sides.

Turn it over and the room warms up

The reverse is a finished face of its own, not a plain backing. Rust-orange takes over as the ground, and the flowers turn teal, burgundy and green. Fold a wide strip back at the head of the bed and the two sides sit together, dark below and warm above.

Leave the green side up when you want the room calm and a little moody. Flip it to the rust side when the space could use more warmth. Either way it sits easily with white sheets, wood floors and plain walls.

Soft, light cotton in three sizes

It is 100% cotton, soft and lightweight, and it breathes, so it can be the only cover on a warm night and an extra layer over the duvet when the house cools down. It falls into loose folds over the side of a mattress instead of lying stiff and flat.

Small makes a generous throw for the sofa, Medium covers the top of most beds, and Large spreads across a big bed with the fringe hanging down the sides. The exact measurements are in the specifications below. Whichever face you leave on top, the flowers are what people notice first.

Specifications

Material: 100% cotton

Construction: Woven from dyed yarns, reversible

Pattern: Large stylized flowers, pointed leaves and feathered petals on curling vines, with small gold dots between them

Front: Dark teal-green ground with burgundy, rust, cream and mustard flowers and pale green vines

Reverse: Rust-orange ground with teal, burgundy and green flowers

Edge: Loose yarn fringe in burgundy, rust and gold on all four sides

Feel: Soft, lightweight and breathable

Small dimensions: 59 x 79 in (150 x 200 cm)

Medium dimensions: 79 x 91 in (200 x 230 cm)

Large dimensions: 91 x 98 in (230 x 250 cm)

Color fastness: Grade 4

Use: Over a bed, a sofa or a reading chair

Care

It can go in the washing machine, or you can wash it by hand if you prefer.

Package Includes

1x Night Garden Floral Blanket

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0966/9430/5064/files/0596-01-green-floral-blanket-over-bed.jpg?v=1792608856
https://ridgewellliving.com/products/night-garden-floral-blanket-reversible-green-and-rust-cotton-throw
