Reindeer Figurine with Scarf and Pompom Hat, White Resin Christmas Decor

A white reindeer figurine sitting with its back legs stretched out wide to either side, wearing a pompom hat between its antlers and a dotted scarf that blows out to one side. Its eyes are painted shut in a happy squint, and the pose alone is enough to make someone smile when they spot it on a shelf or a mantel at Christmas.

Nothing to plug in. Nothing to assemble. Take it out of the box, set it down, and that corner of the room is dressed for the season.

A pose that does all the work

Most reindeer decorations stand stiffly on four legs and look like they belong on a card. This one has sat down. Its front legs run straight down the middle of a round white body to two gray hooves set side by side, while the back legs reach out flat in the splits with a gray hoof tipped up at each end. The whole figure is about as wide as it is tall, so it sits low and settled on a flat surface instead of perching on a narrow base.

The small details reward a closer look. The hat has a white turned-up band across the forehead, with its tail falling behind one ear to a textured pompom. The ears stick straight out under the brim, the long rounded muzzle has two small nostrils, and the scarf ends in a fringed tail that looks caught in a gust of wind.

Soft colors that sit easily with what you already have

Once the tree, the stockings and the ribbon are all red, one more red decoration tends to disappear. This reindeer is white, with a soft green-gray scarf dotted in a darker shade, dark gray-brown antlers and gray hooves, so it reads clearly against greenery and wood without shouting for attention. There is no glitter to shed and no bright plastic shine.

That palette suits more than one kind of Christmas. It looks at home with natural pine and eucalyptus, with white and silver, or on a shelf of books and framed photos that stays exactly as it is the rest of the year.

Small enough for the places a tree never reaches

At five and a half inches tall, it fits the spots most decorations skip. Sit it on the mantel between a pair of pillar candles, in front of the spines on a bookshelf, on the corner of a desk or on a deep windowsill. It works well on an entry console where guests see it on the way in, or on the side table next to your chair. When the decorations come down in the new year, it packs away in a small box until next Christmas.
