Ginkgo Leaf Gauze Quilt, Reversible Cotton Blend with Slate Gray Back

Ginkgo leaves fan out along long, curving branches across this reversible quilt, woven in slate gray against a soft colored ground. Turn it over and the colors swap places, with pale leaves on a slate gray back, so one quilt gives the bed two quite different looks.

Spread it over the duvet with the top edge folded back to show both faces, or drop it over the end of the couch. It comes in pink, green or peach, and in three sizes, Small, Medium and Large.

Branches of ginkgo, woven right into the cloth

Each leaf is the familiar little fan, split along its outer edge and ribbed from the stalk outward, and the leaves hang in loose clusters from thin stems that wander from one side of the quilt to the other. The pattern is jacquard woven, so in a close-up you can pick out the fine lines of thread that build every fan.

The drawing is large and unhurried, with plenty of open ground between the branches. Some leaves are woven darker and some paler, which gives the branches depth from across the room. Up close, there is always another leaf.

Three colors, each with a slate gray back

Pink sets the slate leaves on a warm rose ground and turns them coral pink on the back. It is the brightest of the three, and it brings real color to a plain white bed.

Green is a soft sage with slate leaves, backed by slate gray with pale green leaves, and it is the quietest choice for a calm bedroom. Peach sits between the two, a warm peach face with slate leaves over a slate back scattered with peach ones. Whichever you pick, a folded corner shows both faces at once.

A cotton blend gauze with a neat gray border

The quilt is 70% cotton and 30% soybean fiber, made as a soft gauze that settles into loose folds over the side of a mattress or the arm of a couch. A narrow gray border, woven in a small check, frames every edge on both faces, and a zigzag stitch closes the very edge.
