Oval Rope Basket with Strap Handles, Organizer for Bathroom Counters

A low, long oval basket coiled from soft polyester rope, with a brown strap handle at each end. It gives the spare toilet rolls, the skincare bottles and the hair ties on your bathroom counter one tidy place to live, and at 13 inches long it fits along the back of a vanity without taking it over.

It comes in taupe, gray or white, one basket per order. Pick it up by both handles and the whole lot moves with it, out of a cupboard or across to another room.

One home for the small things that drift across the counter

Every bathroom collects them: the second bottle of hand soap, the roll waiting to go on the holder, the cream you use twice a week and the clips that end up by the tap. Left out loose they make a small room look busy, and pushed into a drawer they roll to the back and get forgotten.

Gathered into one basket, they read as one thing instead of ten. The walls stand four inches high, low enough to see and reach everything inside at a glance and tall enough that a bottle on its side stays put. A roll standing up rises just above the rim. Nothing rolls away.

It works as well on a desk for chargers and notepads, on a shelf for spare rolls, or on a dresser for scarves and the bits that come out of your pockets.

Rope rows and a strap handle, softer than a plastic bin

The walls are a single braided rope wound round in rows, each row bound to the next with fine stitching, so the sides carry a soft ribbed texture with a small chevron pattern in every braid. The top row is the rim, rounded and even all the way round, with nothing sharp to snag a towel or scratch a painted shelf.

At each end a brown strap, stitched along both edges and fixed with a single metal rivet, folds out into a short loop. Hook two fingers through each loop and it lifts. That is all.

Taupe, gray or white, to suit the room it lives in

Taupe is a soft, grayish light brown that sits quietly beside oak, walnut, beige stone and linen. Gray is a light heathered gray, flecked with paler and darker fibers, which suits chrome taps, gray tile and cool painted walls. White is a warm off-white rather than a stark one, the cleanest look on a white vanity or a bright open shelf.

All three share the same brown handles, so they also work side by side: one on the counter for everyday things, one on a shelf for spares, one on the desk. Give each one a single job. The space stays tidy long after the first week.
