Real rattan, and it looks it

Most organizers are made to disappear into a drawer, so what ends up on the counter is a spare dish or the box the soap came in. Rattan works the other way round. Thick round rods run in level rows from the base to the rim, each one bound with fine diagonal strands, so every wall carries a close, even texture you notice from across the room.

The top edge is a rounded band wrapped tight like a twisted rope, a shade more golden than the walls. The corners curve softly instead of ending in a hard point. The color is a warm honey brown with a little variation from strand to strand, and it sits comfortably beside white marble, pale stone, painted wood and brass.

Low walls, so nothing gets lost at the bottom

A deep bin swallows things, and whatever went in first is the one thing you can never find. These stay shallow on purpose. On the Small the wall is about the height of a phone lying on its long edge, and even the Large comes up lower than a coffee mug, so a pump bottle, a candle or a rolled hand towel sits up where you can see it and lift it straight out.

The floor is flat and tightly woven. The sides stand straight, so each one sits square on a shelf, lines up neatly against a backsplash, and looks deliberate next to a second one.
