Goldenrod Floral Cotton Quilt, Reversible Gauze with Terracotta Border

Broad goldenrod leaves, slender blue fronds and small orange lilies spread across a cream ground on this cotton quilt. A wide terracotta border frames the whole design. Turn it over and the other side is a deep navy face scattered with golden leaves, so one quilt gives the bed two quite different looks.

Lay it over the bed as the top layer, fold it back along the pillows so both sides show, or pull it onto the sofa on a cooler evening. The woven cotton is light enough to sleep under on its own on a warm night. On colder ones, throw it over the duvet.

Big, loose leaves that read from across the room

The design is a botanical tangle drawn at a large scale, with wide mustard leaves, long blue and olive fronds, and orange lilies and bell-shaped flowers tucked in between them. Because the shapes are big, the pattern stays clear from the doorway instead of turning into a busy blur.

The cream ground keeps all that color from feeling heavy. Mustard, blue and rust sit happily beside white sheets, wood floors and plain walls, so the quilt brings the color and the rest of the room can stay simple.

A second, darker side underneath

Flip it over. The cream gives way to a deep navy ground carrying golden leaves, with touches of purple and olive, the same family of colors in a moodier mix. Fold a wide strip back at the head of the bed and the two sides sit together, bright below and dark above.

Put the navy side up when the room wants something calmer, and the cream side up when it needs a lift. The terracotta border runs around every edge, so it frames whichever face you choose.

Soft cotton gauze with an easy drape

The quilt is 100% woven cotton with a soft, gently crinkled gauze surface that shows in every fold. It drapes rather than standing stiff, so it falls loosely over the sides of the mattress and settles around your shoulders when you wrap up in it on the sofa.

At 90 x 98 inches it spreads across a bed with plenty to spare, and it folds over the back of a sofa just as easily. Whichever side faces up, it becomes the brightest corner of the room.
