Sculptural flatware in 304 stainless steel, where every piece has a bend in its neck that lets it rest on the rim of a bowl, a mug or a glass. Put it down halfway through a meal and the head stays in the dish while the handle sits out on the table, clean and ready to pick up again.
No spoon sinking into the soup. No knife balanced on the edge of the plate. Rest it on the rim.
A bend in every neck, so each piece has somewhere to rest
Ordinary cutlery has a straight neck, so the moment you let go of a spoon in a deep bowl it slides down the side and the handle ends up in whatever you were eating. Here the neck leaves the head at one side, kinks across and then runs on into the handle, and that kink is exactly the right shape to sit on a rim.
Lay a spoon across a bowl of soup or cereal and it hooks on the edge with the bowl of the spoon inside and the handle pointing out. A teaspoon does the same on a coffee mug, and a long spoon can stand in a tall glass of iced tea without disappearing into it. The knife and the fork rest on a pasta bowl the same way between bites, so nothing ends up on the tablecloth.
An open knife and squared spoons that look like nothing else in the drawer
The knife blade is drawn as an outline: a slim, rounded triangle of steel with an open middle you can see straight through, and a finely serrated outer edge for cutting. The fork has four slim, straight tines. The spoon and the teaspoon have squarish bowls with soft corners, wider at the tip than at the neck.
Every piece runs into the same long, slim, round handle with a rounded end and nothing added to it. The surface has a soft brushed satin look rather than a mirror shine. It catches the light gently, and it looks as good on a stoneware plate at dinner as on a breakfast tray.
Four finishes, and a set for four, six or twelve
Black is a soft graphite that looks striking against white plates and pale linen. Silver is plain brushed steel and goes with any table you already have. Gold is a warm, muted gold that suits candlelight and darker stoneware. Rose Gold is a pinkish copper that brings warmth to a white or marble table.
Each set is a complete place setting of knife, fork, spoon and teaspoon. The 16 piece set lays four places, the 24 piece set lays six, and the 48 piece set lays twelve, which is enough for a long dinner table. Every piece goes in the dishwasher, and the next time you put a spoon down it stays exactly where you left it.

Care
Every piece is dishwasher safe. For the longest-lasting finish, wash it by hand in warm water with a mild detergent and dry it straight away. Avoid long soaks and leaving it in acidic foods, which can dull the finish over time.
Use a soft cloth or sponge, never an abrasive scouring pad.
