Ribbed Faux Fur Throw Blanket with Soft Raised Stripes in Seven Colors

This faux fur throw is made of long raised ribs running from side to side. The stripes are the fur itself, one color throughout, with nothing printed on. Drape it over the end of a sofa and each rib curls into a soft round bolster wherever the cloth bends.

Pull it over your legs when you sit down for the evening, then leave it folded on a chair back when you get up. Run a palm down it and the pile feels smooth the whole way, rising and falling over every rib.

The stripes are raised fur, not a print

Each rib is its own raised band of plush fur, with a narrow groove before the next one starts. A thin line of shadow settles in that groove, and the shadow is what you read as a stripe. From across a room the gray version looks finely pinstriped. Up close, the same ribs turn into deep, rounded ridges.

Brush along the pile and it feels long, soft and smooth, never coarse. Bunch it over a chair back or a sofa arm and the ribs squeeze into plump rolls, where a printed stripe would simply go flat.

At home on a sofa, an armchair or a bed

Most days it lives on a sofa or a lounge chair, tossed across the arm with one end trailing toward the floor. On a bed it works as well as any blanket to sleep under through a cold night. Folded into a pile, its ribs line up along each folded edge, which keeps it looking tidy until you need it again.

Seven colors and two sizes, with the same ribs on all of them

The calmest three are Gray, a clean light shade, Charcoal, the darkest in the range, and Cream, a soft and slightly warm ivory that sits between them.

The remaining four add color. Pink and Terracotta sit on the warm side, a dusty rose and a rusty orange brown, while Green and Blue stay muted, a yellowish green and a gentle mid blue.

Small fits a sofa or one person's lap, and Large covers a whole bed. Ribs and pile are identical on both, so the real choice is the color you want waiting on the end of the sofa.

Care

We recommend washing it by hand to keep it at its best. It will also take a machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle, on its own. No bleach and no harsh detergents, and wash colors separately so nothing transfers.

Hang it to dry, or tumble dry it on low heat. Let it dry completely before you put it away.
