Bear Bookends, Pair of Cream Resin Bears Holding Books, Lying or Sitting

A pair of matte cream bears that hold your books upright, one at each end of the row: a standing bear pressing the books with both front paws, and either a bear lying on its back with its feet up against the other end, or a bear sitting beside the row in a little open jacket. The standing bear is the same in both pairs. It leans into the end book with its arms out straight and its paws flat against the cover, one foot set slightly behind the other, as if it is holding a door shut. At 6.3 inches tall it reaches well up the spine of a standard hardback.

The second bear is your choice. The lying bear rests on its back with its head on the shelf and both feet raised, the soles pressed flat to the other end of the row, so it looks as though the bear is holding the whole row up with its feet. The sitting bear simply sits beside the books, legs out in front, looking straight out at the room, which suits a shelf where you want the books framed rather than wedged.

Soft colors that suit a grown-up shelf

Both bears are cast in resin with a smooth matte finish, so they pick up soft light instead of shining. The bodies are a warm ivory cream and the little tops are a muted khaki, with small black eyes and a black nose. The sitting bear also has a faint pink blush on its cheeks and inside its ears.
