Every LED is a dot you can color on your own

Ordinary curtain lights show one color along the whole string, or a fixed chase you cannot change, so the window looks the same every night of the season. On this curtain each LED is controlled on its own, which turns the whole grid into a simple screen made of dots. In the app you draw dot by dot, add text, or choose from patterns and emojis, and the design appears across the strands exactly where you put it.

You pick from up to 16 million colors and set the brightness, so a design can be a soft glow behind the sofa or bright enough to read from the street. The included remote handles the everyday things, like switching on, changing colors and running the effects, without opening the app each time.

It moves with the music and switches itself on

A microphone built into the controller picks up music and sound in the room, and the lighting effects move with the rhythm, so it becomes a backdrop for a party rather than just a decoration. In the app you can also set on and off times, so the window lights up at dusk and goes dark at bedtime without anyone remembering to do it.

Which size to pick, and why the LED count changes

Every size is a square, as tall as it is wide. The 1 m, 2 m and 3 m curtains each carry 400 LEDs on 20 strands of 20, while the 1.6 m and 2.4 m carry 256 LEDs on 16 strands of 16, so a picture on those two is drawn with fewer, simpler dots. The smallest packs its LEDs closest together for the finest detail over a desk or a small window, and the 3 m spreads them across a whole patio door. The exact figures are in the specifications.

How it hangs, and how it powers on

The strands hang straight down from a top cable with small hooks along it, so it goes up on a curtain rod or along a row of wall hooks in a few minutes. The USB lead runs from one top corner, and any USB power adapter will run it, although the adapter is not included. Keep it indoors, keep the controller dry, and never cut or shorten the strands. Put it up once, and the picture in the window is something you change from the sofa.
