Medallion Throw Blanket, Reversible Boho Paisley in Light Cotton Gauze

Large orange medallions cover this cotton throw, with paisleys and little flowers worked between them in mustard, rust, slate blue and burgundy, and a broad mustard band running around the pattern. Flip it over and you get a second, darker design in mustard, blue and burgundy, so the same blanket changes the look of the bed whenever you feel like it.

Lay it across the bed with one corner folded back to show both faces, or drop it over the arm of the couch with the mustard edge hanging toward the floor. Walk into the room and the medallions are the first thing you notice.

Large medallions in warm, deep colors

The brighter face is laid out in big medallions, and each one has a pink star at its heart, ringed in orange and mustard and a thin zigzag of blue and cream. Paisleys, leafy sprigs and small flowers fill the gaps, and many of them are traced in lines of tiny dots.

The palette runs from orange and rust red through golden mustard and burgundy to a muted slate blue, with flashes of pink, all set on a cream ground. Up close there is plenty to look at. From across the room, the whole thing settles into one warm block of color.

A second, darker face underneath

Turn it over and the reverse carries its own pattern of paisleys, medallions and small flowers in mustard, slate blue and burgundy, with much less orange in the mix. That side is a finished design, not a plain backing. Either face can go on top, and the mustard band edges both.

Light cotton gauze, finished with a mustard band

The cloth is 100% cotton, a light gauze whose pattern is woven in with colored yarns rather than printed onto the surface. Look closely and you can pick out the separate threads that build each shape. The fabric has a soft, faintly crinkled hand. Over a bed it settles into loose, relaxed folds.

You won't find a fringe here. A wide strip of plain mustard runs along the edges instead, framing the pattern on both faces.

Both sizes share the medallions, the mustard band and the darker reverse, so a new look is only ever a flip away.

Care

We recommend washing it by hand to keep it at its best. It will also take a cold machine wash on a delicate cycle, on its own. No bleach and no harsh detergents. Wash colors separately, so nothing transfers.

Let it dry completely before you put it away or back on the bed.
