Christmas Gnome Door Mat, Navy with Snowflakes, Non Slip and Washable

A Christmas door mat printed with three bearded gnomes in tall hats, each holding a warm mug, sitting in the snow under a navy night sky full of snowflakes. Put it at the front door and everyone who comes up the step gets a smile before they have even knocked.

No glitter to shed. No lights to plug in. When the porch gets muddy, it goes in the washing machine.

Three gnomes, a snowy night and a plaid border

The gnome on the left and the one in the middle wear tall red hats scattered with white stars, and the middle one has a red coat and a black mug in his hands. The gnome on the right has a dark knitted hat with a red ribbed brim and holds a candy-striped mug. Their round noses peek out over big white beards, and small wrapped gifts and peppermints sit in the snow at their feet.

Behind them, frosted white fir trees rise against a deep navy sky, and white snowflakes drift across the whole mat. A border of dark and tan plaid blocks frames the picture, so it reads like a little Christmas card laid at the door.

Lay it with the hats toward the door, and the gnomes face whoever walks up.

Flat, washable, and it stays where you put it

The face is soft polyester with the picture printed into it, with no deep pile to flatten under boots or to hold on to wet leaves. Underneath, a non-slip backing helps it stay put on wood, tile and stone, which matters at a door that gets pushed open all day.

When it needs a clean, it goes in the washing machine. The print is made to resist fading, so the reds and the navy hold their color through the washes and the mat is ready to come back out next Christmas.

For the front porch, the hall or the back door

It works indoors and out, so it suits the front porch, the hallway just inside, the mudroom or the floor in front of the kitchen door.

The Small fits a single interior door, a back step or a mudroom, where a bigger mat would crowd the floor. The Large is deeper as well as wider, so it fills a front door better and gives boots more room before they reach the hall. Either way, the doorway becomes part of the decorating, and that is where the season starts for everyone who visits.
