Dark Teal Floral Cotton Quilt, Reversible Woven Paisley with Orange Back

Big paisley medallions in orange, white and navy spread across a dark teal ground on this woven cotton quilt, and a wide mustard border frames the whole design. Turn it over and the colors trade places, with the same paisleys in teal and navy on a bright orange ground.

That gives one quilt two quite different moods: a cool teal for most days, and a warm orange when the room could use it. Lay it flat as the top layer, fold the orange back over the pillows, or pull it onto the sofa when the evening turns cool.

Paisley medallions you can read from the doorway

Each medallion is a ring of paisley teardrops, outlined in small white dots and filled with orange and navy, around a navy-and-white flower at the center. Between them sit white sprigs shaped like a cross, with little flowers and orange leaf sprays in the gaps, so the teal never looks empty.

The shapes are large, about three medallions across the width. That is why the pattern stays clear from across the room instead of blurring into a busy print. The muted teal keeps it calm, while the orange and mustard bring warmth against white sheets, wood floors and plain walls.

An orange side, not a plain backing

Flip it over. The design is woven into the cotton rather than printed on top, so it comes through on the back in reverse. Where the front is teal with orange paisleys, the back is orange with teal and navy ones. Up close you can see the texture of the yarn running through every color.

Fold a wide strip back at the head of the bed and both faces sit together, teal below and orange above. The mustard border turns over the edge, so it frames whichever side is up. Both sides are finished.

Sized for the top of a bed or the back of a sofa

At 59 x 79 inches it spreads across the top of a bed and folds over the back of a sofa just as easily. The surface is soft and gently crinkled, and it settles into loose folds rather than standing stiff.

Use it on its own when the night is warm, or lay it over the duvet when it isn't. Whichever side faces up, the bed becomes the first thing anyone notices in the room.
