Reading Ghost Lantern Light for Halloween, Tabletop Decor with Boo Sign

The trunk rises at the back in a dark, nearly black brown, carved with deep bark grooves and cut off at the top like an old stump. A thick branch curls out from it and over to the right. The lantern hangs from its tip on a small silver hook, just beside the ghost's head, as if somebody had lit it so the ghost could keep reading.

The ghost is a soft, rounded shape in bright white with a gentle sheen, two black oval eyes and nothing else on its face. It holds its open book in both hands, and its sheet spreads out over the tan top of the base in loose folds. The sign is fixed flat to the front of the trunk, a cream faux-wood plank with carved-look black letters and two little cracks across it.

The lantern is the light, and it stays gentle

The lantern's frosted globe glows a warm amber-yellow inside a dark bronze-brown frame. It is soft enough to sit beside you on a nightstand without lighting the room, and bright enough that the scene still reads when the other lamps go down. A glow, not a lamp.
