Powered by the nearest USB port

There is no battery to charge and nothing to pair: no app, no Wi-Fi and no Bluetooth. The USB plug sits on the end of the gooseneck itself, so it goes straight into a laptop, a power bank or a USB wall adapter. The neck then holds the head at whatever angle you bend it to. The adapter and the power bank are not included, though an old phone charger with a full-size USB port will do the job.

At 2.95 by 1.38 inches the head is about the size of a small flashlight. When the decorations come down it goes in a drawer with its ten discs, and next year the ceiling is ready again in the time it takes to find a USB port.
