A gold tiered tray stand made of round, shallow iron trays held by one slim arched rod, in two heights: 2 Tier with two trays, or 3 Tier with three. Most surfaces that collect small things are full long before they are tidy, because a single dish only has one level and everything ends up piled on top of everything else. A frame that rises from the edge, not the middle

Cake-stand designs usually push a pole straight up through the center of every tier. Here the only support is one thin rod at the back. It climbs past the upper tray, bends over in a smooth arch and drops into the center of the top tray, where it sits in a small turned collar. On the 3 Tier a short center rod carries the middle tray from the top one, and it stops there.

That leaves the bottom tray completely clear. A makeup brush can lie across the middle of it, a row of short bottles can stand in a line, and nothing is in the way when you reach in from the front or the sides.

2 Tier or 3 Tier

The 2 Tier stands 7.5 inches tall, low enough to sit under a mirror or a bathroom cabinet, with a 6.3-inch tray held above the 7.9-inch base tray. It suits a nightstand or a hall table, where it keeps keys, a watch and sunglasses in one place by the door.

The 3 Tier reaches 11.4 inches and adds a smaller 5.1-inch tray at the top. It is the better choice for a vanity or a dressing table with a lot of small pieces to sort. Both stand on the same 7.9-inch footprint, and both come in the same warm, satin gold finish.

Whichever you choose, the corner of the room that used to collect clutter becomes the one you notice for the right reasons.
